Access query string variables

A new snippet has been added that allows query string values to be displayed on a web page (without needing to use any code).

access query string variables
Some use-cases include:
  • Create an invoice template page on your site and send a link to customers to view the details.
  • Some third-party providers will redirect to your website with details appended to the URL.
  • Send personalized proposals to prospects.
To use this new feature in editMode, click the snippets button ( ) in the toolbar and select "query string vals". Then enter the name of the variable and save. That's it! As long as the key/value pair is in the URL, the value will show on the page. This feature works even with page caching.
