Product prices (regular and sale) can now be mass-updated in the database. You can either increase or decrease by a specified percentage. Even better, multiple products can be instantly put on sale by applying a mass percentage discount to the original price, which appears in the sale price field. To make this happen, first use the filters when displaying products in the database to narrow down to your desired selection of products to be affected. Then click the column header for either the price or sale price field. Follow instructions from there.
